Packing List: Clothing

Bike clothes and “nicer” off-the bike clothes in an Eagle Creek clean/dirty half cube

This cube has a plastic liner to let you separate your clean and dirty clothes; I kept bike clothes in one side and nicer clothes in the other and used a separate mesh bag for dirty laundry. This held:

  • 3 bike jerseys, provided by Ulman
  • 2-3 bike shorts (I tried several, some of which didn’t survive the trip. Generally I’d suggest Terry brand shorts over Pearl Izumi– many of the girls loved the Pearl Izumi Sugar shorts but they absolutely did not work for me)
  • 1 pair of leg warmers
  • 2 pairs of shorts
  • 3 tops
  • 1 dress

Casual clothes in a medium Eagle Creek cube

  • 7 pairs of athletic shorts (too many lol, but I wore all of them often and bought two pairs along the way)
  • 7 tops (again, too many, but I picked up several along the way. Two were provided by Ulman)

Comfy clothes in a REI 15L compression sack

  • Ulman hoodie
  • REI puffy jacket: LOVE this thing! So lightweight and compact but extremely well insulated
  • 1 pair of leggings
  • 1 pair of joggers

Undergarments in a small Eagle Creek cube

  • 5 sports bras (3 for riding, 2 for off the bike)
  • 6 pairs of underwear (honestly too many)
  • 7 pairs of socks, including one cozy pair for cold nights

Shoes in Eagle Creek shoe cubes

  • Chacos
  • Birkenstocks
  • Tennis shoes (would bring actual running shoes with good tread, I had to borrow a pair of Greta’s shoes to hike Angel’s Landing lol)
  • Shower flops
